Vodafone's Location Based Services (LBS) enables application developers and content partners to identify a user’s geographic location - with their permission - using nothing more than a standard SIM in a phone or other mobile device.  LBS enables you to:

- Pinpoint locations in real-time without the need for separate GPS systems

- Develop request-based user applications e.g. ‘Find my nearest bank’

- Push relevant content to ‘opted in’ mobiles

- Get the most accurate location information of any UK network with true reliability

- Benefit from an even faster service as our network is ready to incorporate AGPS (Assisted GPS)
